Bradbury Building Revisit, continued

Here's another 6x6 TMax 100 rescan from the Bradbury Bldg. shoot back in June of last year.  Interestingly enough, this roll was overall way underexposed, but these negs really have some pop pulled out in the scanner.

The general public is only allowed in the lobby, and up to the first floor landing, as Bradbury is home to the LAPD Internal Affairs division-- there were a fair number of plainclothes police with holstered weapons wandering around.  That being said, there were a large number of interesting angles-- and the light from the skylight many floors above, just fantastic.  I am planning another visit when I'm out in LA in April.

Bradbury Building Revisited

20110217-gncbw_189-1-2.jpg I decided to rescan a few of the medium format negatives shot this summer at the Bradbury Building in fragrant downtown L.A. This was scanned at 6400dpi, which worked out to be a 13,000x13,000 pixel image--but flickr, for size reasons limits me to about 7k. So here's a resample of the resample, much better shadow detail than the original, but I was not as maniacal about the dust cleanup.
