I decided to rescan a few of the medium format negatives shot this summer at the Bradbury Building in fragrant downtown L.A. This was scanned at 6400dpi, which worked out to be a 13,000x13,000 pixel image--but flickr, for size reasons limits me to about 7k. So here's a resample of the resample, much better shadow detail than the original, but I was not as maniacal about the dust cleanup.
I've been a photographer since my dad taught me how to develop film when I was about 13 years old. Since then, I have shot and developed and printed a lot, and continue to do so until this day. Like many, I am now a digital photographer, but my photographic life still is a hybrid of digital and analog 35mm and medium format chemical film based photography.
